Video Transcript:

It's no secret. Dubsado* is my favorite client management system for solopreneurs and small business owners. It's an all-in-one system that can replace up to 10 different types of software. And now Dubsadso has a feature that allows you to run reports on your account. And that's what we're going to talk about in today's video.

Welcome back to the Productive Co. YouTube channel. My name is Rae and I am here to help you with all things Dubsado CRM. You can now run reports inside of Dubsado* to see how your business is doing over time. We can expect Dubsado to release more and more reporting features. Let me show you what you can do.

Disclaimer: Dubsado is Always Adding New Features

Before we get started. I do want to provide a disclaimer that Dubsado* is constantly adding new features. And by the time you watch this video, there could be new reports you can run or things may have moved around a little bit. Okay?

Now, the first thing you want to do is go into the reporting tab. Then you'll go to project breakdown.

Report by Date

First I'll show you "filter by date." This is where you can see the number of inquiries you are receiving over a period of time. You'll click on any of the preset date options at the top, or create a custom date range. Just know that if you create a custom date range, it must be for at least seven days.

Report by Project Source

You can also filter by project sources. This is just another word for referral sources. You can see where your clients are finding you the most and where they're finding you the least. So that way you can better target your marketing practices in order to filter your project sources. You'll need to click the filters on the right side of the page.

Average Project per Week Report

You can also run a report on the average projects you're bringing in per week. I do want to make a note here that it's only going to show projects with project sources attached. So if a client hasn't shared how they have been referred to you, you won't be able to run reports on those projects.

Amount of Money from Project Source Report

You can also view the amount of money from booked projects. This is where you can view the net income from selected referral sources or project sources. It will account for all invoices and expenses on projects within the selected project sources. You can also export sources by going into the projects tab, clicking the filter on the left side, choosing the project sources you want to filter by, and then clicking “export” on the right side of the page.

Financial Reports

Lastly, you can run financial reports. You can do that within Dubsado.* However, Dubsado was only going to show you the income earned from your services. It's not going to show product or affiliate income, and it will only show expenses that you input by hand because Dubsado doesn't connect to your bank account. For this reason, I recommend using a third party accounting tool and then running your financial reports from there. However, if you want to take a look at just your services, you can run reports by going into the reporting tab and then playing around with the invoices, transactions, chart of accounts, or reports.

It's great to be able to run reports, but you're going to need a system built out first. If you need help with your workflows, I do have a free five-day email course called Dubsado Workflow Secrets that I'll link to down below. So you can get started with that.
