If you use Dubsado* and go to trade shows, expos, conventions, or public events, this video is for you.

Welcome back to the Productive Co. YouTube channel. My name is Rae, and I'm here to help you master Dubsado CRM.* If you are an event planner, a wedding photographer, or someone else who might go to public events, such as trade shows or expos, you'll want to capture as many leads as you can.

Today, I'm going to show you how to capture a high volume of leads at these events really easily. If you are at an event where you're going to capture a high number of leads, or contact information, you'll want to make sure that your contact form continually goes back to the contact form. Once it's completed and Dubsado* calls contact forms "lead captures."

How to Set Up Your Lead Capture

So the way you're going to set this up is by going into the Dubsado interface // Templates // Forms // and then all the way on the right side, you'll see lead captures.

Step 1

You will create a new lead capture form. And at the very minimum you need to capture the client's first name, last name and email address.

Step 2

Ask any other questions you would like, and then hit save, then click "share" directly next to save. You'll copy the URL under the direct link.

Step 3

And you're going to now go into the settings tab of your lead capture. There's an option here to have a thank you message or a URL redirect. What you're going to do is remove the thank you message and then paste that URL where the redirect URL is. Scroll up to the top and hit save.

Step 4

Now, what you're going to do is select "share" again, and this time you have the option to either copy the link or copy the code. If you copy the code, you'll embed that into your website. So when you go to an event, bring a tablet or your laptop, and make sure that you have this lead capture open on your device.

That's either going to be through the direct link or through the website page that has the lead capture embedded on it. So the lead will fill out this form and then they'll hit send. As soon as they hit send they'll come back to this lead capture, but it will be blank so they can then pass it on to the next person. So every time this form is completed, a new blank form will populate.

If you need more help with your Dubsado* setup, I do have a free five-day email course called Dubsado Workflow Secrets. In the course, I help you map out what your workflows are and determine which parts of your workflow you can put in Dubsado. I'll put that info below this video for your convenience.
